The management of the Lidice Monument respects the resolution of the Lidice local authority dated 14 September 2006, and therefore, it has decided to preliminary terminate the Internet campaign of the Lidice Monument.

The Director of the Lidice Monument hereby apologises to all those, who might have been offended by this campaign, particularly bereaved families after victims of the Lidice tragedy.

It has been all the time the mission of the management of the Monument to make every effort to preserve Lidice in the memory of the public as an appeal in the struggle against Nazism and totalitarianism, as well as against evil and violence.
